Currently the shelter could use hot cocoa mix packets, powdered coffee creamer, underwear, T-shirts, and jeans (men’s and women’s). Best time for drop off is between 7:30 and 11 am.

Congratulations to Keith! This morning, Governor Jay Inslee and First Lady Trudi Inslee toured the shelter and presented owner Keith Hughes with a certificate naming him Washingtonian of the Day for his initiative and efforts helping people needing shelter. Looking for housing assistance? Case managers will be available at the Westside Neighbors Network shelter (3620 SW Alaska St) on Friday, February 17 from 4 to 8 pm to help complete and file paperwork for temporary, interim, and final housing. A regular schedule for case manager assistance at the shelter is set to begin soon.
