The morning warmup/breakfast center at Westside Neighbors Shelter will be closed October 5 – 23 for a short break. Operations are set to resume on October 24, 2024.

The shelter is running low on coffee, powdered creamer, and instant oatmeal. If you’ve been wondering what to donate to the shelter right now, this is it! You can drop off donations between 7 and 10 am at the American Legion Hall where the shelter is located. It’s hot out there! When the warmup center/breakfast ends at 10 am, we’d like to be able to send our clients out with a bottle of water to keep them hydrated during the day. If you can donate some bottled water, please drop it by the shelter between 7 and 10 am. Thank you!

The Overnight shelter will be open tonight (Tuesday, March 12) through Friday night (March 15). Warm Up Center and breakfast will be open in the morning as usual.

The overnight shelter will be open tonight (Thursday, March 7) and tomorrow night (Friday, March 8), but will be closed starting Saturday, March 9, until further notice. The Warm Up Center will continue to open each morning, and will be serving breakfast as usual.

Based on the weather forecast for this weekend, Keith will open the shelter again for overnight stays on Saturday, February 3, until further notice.
