Even though warmer weather is here, people with nowhere to sleep at night still need somewhere to clean up and get something to eat. Many downtown shelters provide no food or amenities.
Westside Neighbors Shelter is open year-round as a warmup and breakfast center from 7 to 11 am. Currently, each morning we are serving around 30 regular clients and 15 drop-bys with a hot breakfast and a place to shower. We’re always in need of caring people willing to volunteer a few hours of their time to help prepare breakfast, launder towels, sort donations, and other tasks. Want to be part of the solution?
