Westside Neighbors Shelter is hoping to provide a Thanksgiving dinner for the 40 men and women sheltering from the cold in the American Legion Hall. Are you able to make stuffing or mashed potatoes? Tonight at 5 pm! All Souls and Shelter Church Seattle will host a community dinner at Westside Neighbors Shelter in the American Legion Hall, 3620 SW Alaska, every Friday night at 5 pm. (Although Westside Neighbors Shelter is not affiliated with any religion, the Legion Hall is always available for community events.) All are welcome,

The sewer line at the American Legion Hall has been repaired, and the shelter will open for breakfast tomorrow as usual, from 7 to 11 am.

A main sewer line between the Legion Hall and 37th Avenue SW has broken. Repairs are scheduled to begin 6:30 am Monday, August 18. Unfortunately, the Warm Up Center and breakfast will need to be canceled until the problem can be fixed. Signs will be posted to alert clients, and we’ll keep everyone updated on

Even though warmer weather is here, people with nowhere to sleep at night still need somewhere to clean up and get something to eat. Many downtown shelters provide no food or amenities. Westside Neighbors Shelter is open year-round as a warmup and breakfast center from 7 to 11 am. Currently, each morning we are serving
